Internship as a freestanding course - Italian and Russian
Students who study Italian or Russian also have the opportunity for internships. However, this internship is not included in the regular courses but is applied for as freestanding courses. The internship comprises 10 or 20 weeks.
How it works
The internship should provide experience of working life and at the same time provide an opportunity for the student to use and develop the knowledge and skills acquired during the education.
The student contacts potential workplaces for internship himself / herself. The workplace that receives a student must appoint a supervisor with responsibility for introducing, instructing and supporting the student during the internship. The student and the workplace then sign an agreement on the internship, which must be approved by the internship coordinator at the Department of Modern Languages. When an agreement has been approved, the internship coordinator registers the student on the internship course.
After completing the internship, the student must submit a written account of his / her internship. In addition, the student must give an oral presentation at a seminar at the end of the semester.
